Home Study Program Downloadable Media
To expedite the process of getting the teachings to a student who has ordered a RSE Home Study Program,
we offer the audio and video teachings in downloadable format, rather than ship CDs and DVDs.
The teachings are offered in a file format that can be accessed on your computer with free available media players or
transferred to a portable media device (Ipod, Zune, or other) and listened to or viewed that way. All downloadable media
is yours to keep and listen to as often as you please, but is covered by our Terms of Use,
listed here.
As you progress in the Modules of a program, you will come across links instructing you to download the media.
Click on the link to open the Terms of Use Agreement page on www.ramtha.tv
Follow the directions on that page: CLICK TO DOWNLOAD - Save file to disc
By Downloading this content, you are agreeing to the terms of use.
AUDIO
Collections of audio tracks are packaged together in zip files. Zip files can be opened (unzipped) by both PCs and Mac computers.
- Open zip files on a Windows Computer. With Windows XP or Vista, your operating system has
built-in support for Zip files. They are described as "Compressed (zipped) folders." Double-click on a Zip
file and it will open in Explorer. You will them be prompted to save the unzipped folder/collection of files. Pay
attention where you do this so you can find the files to use at a later date.
With Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT or Windows 2000 then you'll need to install a special
application to open Zip files.
- Open Zip files in Mac OS X If you use an Apple Mac then you can use Stuffit to open Zip files. The free version is available here.
Single audio files and the audio files inside of zip file collections are in MP3 format, generally at 192kbps or better. These files
will play on your computer with a host of free available media players, including Itunes, Winamp, Windows Media Player, and more.
They can also be transferred to a portable music player (see Terms of Use for details).
VIDEO
Downloadable video is encoded using H.264 Video Encoding and can be played with the latest version of Quick Time Video Player (free download) or other video players if the correct video codecs are installed on the computer.
If you have any questions or issues downloading media, please email webteam@ramtha.tv for support.
